Laxminiya Yuwa Club (LYC) is a registered, non-profit, non-political, and youth-led organization established on 20 Ashadh 2075 B.S. in Jahada Rural Municipality–5, Morang, Koshi Province, Nepal.
Born from the vision of a group of passionate young people, LYC was established with one shared belief: when youth unite with purpose, they can transform their community. What began as a small initiative has grown into a trusted organization dedicated to empowering young people, promoting volunteerism, and driving sustainable community development.
Over the years, the club has become a catalyst for positive change by creating opportunities for youth to lead, learn, and serve. Through collaboration with local communities, government bodies, educational institutions, and development partners, we continue to implement impactful programs that strengthen society and inspire responsible citizenship.
Our work spans across education, health, environmental conservation, disaster response, agriculture, sports, culture, social awareness, and youth leadership. Every initiative reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive, resilient, and progressive community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

📖 Our Story
Laxminiya Youth Club was founded on 20 Asadh 2075 B.S. in Jahada Rural Municipality–5, Laxminiya Chowk, Morang.
The idea for the club was born from a simple conversation among local youth at a small tea shop. While discussing sports and the lack of opportunities for young people in their village, Nitesh Kumar Sah, Abhishek Kumar Sah, Rupesh Sah, Kartik Singh, Dhiraj Kamat, and several other friends were inspired by the achievements of youth clubs in Biratnagar and neighboring communities. They asked themselves a simple but powerful question:
“If youth in other communities can create positive change, why can’t we do the same in Laxminiya?”
Inspired by this vision, the group decided to establish a youth organization dedicated to community service, youth empowerment, and social development. Under the leadership of Abhishek Kumar Sah, a nine-member founding committee was formed, marking the official beginning of Laxminiya Youth Club.
Determined to turn their vision into reality, the founding members traveled to the District Administration Office, Morang, to complete the club’s registration. Despite heavy rainfall and challenging conditions, they remained committed to their mission and successfully registered the organization.
What began as a small initiative by a handful of passionate young people has grown into a respected community organization. Today, Laxminiya Youth Club continues to organize sports competitions, blood donation campaigns, health awareness programs, environmental conservation activities, educational initiatives, disaster relief efforts, and various social service programs.
The journey of LYC reflects the dedication, unity, and volunteer spirit of its founders, members, supporters, and community partners. As the organization moves forward, it remains committed to empowering youth, strengthening communities, and creating lasting positive change for future generations.

What began as a dream among a few dedicated youth has today grown into a vibrant organization committed to education, health, environmental conservation, sports, disaster response, agriculture, cultural preservation, and community development.
Our journey has been made possible through the dedication of our members, volunteers, well-wishers, local government, partner organizations, and every individual who has supported our mission.
